Surah 34 · The Engineering of Decay
سَبَأ
Saba
Surah Saba maps the engineering of decay. Allah dismantles massive illusions of power with microscopic precision: a termite eats Sulayman's staff and the Jinn work for a dead king for months. A dam breaks and a civilization built on arrogance collapses. The Jinn do not know the unseen.
Power is an illusion. Infrastructure cannot protect a society that lacks spiritual gratitude. The kingdom of Sheba had gardens, dams, and prosperity — but arrogance in provision brought the flood. Sulayman's kingdom was held up by a wooden staff. One termite. The crown fell.
